COMMUNITY
ENGAGEMENT
WCI employee owners are passionate about the communities in which they live and work. Our employee owners want to both make a difference and demonstrate they work for a company determined to be a good neighbor.
WCI encourages employee owners to volunteer their time and talents. To support our employee owners, WCI organizes volunteer opportunities within the normal workday and provides up to eight hours of paid volunteer time off (VTO) for each eligible employee owner to use throughout the calendar year.
Organizations that have benefited from WCI’s charitable contributions include United Way, Habitat for Humanity and JDRF, just to name a few.
LAST YEAR
- The average employee owner volunteered over 45 hours, including hours both on their own time and during work time
- WCI paid out over 1100 hours of VTO to employee owners
- Our employee owners volunteered at over 225 different organizations
WE’RE ENCOURAGED TO THINK STRATEGICALLY IN HOW WE CONDUCT BUSINESS, TAKE CARE OF OUR COMPANY AND PROTECT THE VALUE OF OUR STOCK
